BAR CODES?
The VTx is capable of processing camera images. It can read barcodes! This means the VTx no longer needs to transmit to set up channels. It also means you no longer have to guess what channel the VTx is on, simply point it at the barcode of your choice and it will move to that channel or power level! With this technology comes many more exciting features.
PITMODE - DESIGNED TO RACE
Zero interference, even when it's on, it's now an option! If you've ever repaired your copter during a race you know you won't be able to turn it on and test your system. With PitMode we reduce the output power to the bare minimum (well below single digit mW). With this feature the transmit power is limited to about 1m from the transmitter. With SmartAudio or CRSF you can turn the VTx back on to the power you need.
SMARTAUDIO V2.1 & CRSF - TEAM RACE
SmartAudio technology provides UART control for your entire video transmitter. Parameters such as output power, bands, channels and frequencies can be freely changed. This allows remote control of channels directly from your smart device (TBS Crossfire, requires external Bluetooth or WiFi module), from your radio (TBS Crossfire with TBS Tango or OpenTX compatible remote), or from the OSD (e.g. Betaflight OSD, TBS CORE PRO) ).
CLEANSWITCH
CleanSwitch is a technology developed by TBS to ensure that your video transmitter does not interfere when switching on or changing channels. All current video transmitters switch across the entire band while on, often resulting in flickering and heavy interference to anyone on the air, regardless of the video channel selected. TBS CleanSwitch allows you to turn on and change channels while your friends are on the air, without any outside interference.
