The T14 is Jumper's answer to the RM Boxer and TBS Mambo radios. Similar in appearance to the above radios, but with some of its own unique features and also cheaper. One of the advantages of the T14 is the integrated memory. It replaces a conventional SD card and greatly increases the reliability of the radio. Another advantage of the T14 is its large 2.42-inch display. Moreover, it is OLED type, which provides better clarity than monochrome LCD displays. It's also really bright, making it easy to read even outdoors in the sun.
When it comes to controls, the T14 uses Hall sensor precision gimbals. There's plenty for other controls: 4 switches, 2 buttons and two potentiometers. There are also joysticks on the radio to adjust the trim.
The T14 radio is compatible with ExpressLRS ( ELRS for short) receivers. ELRS is an RC link control that offers incredible range, high refresh rates, adjustable power, updates via wifi, and more. At 2.4 GHz, ELRS outperforms conventional RC systems in every way while maintaining short antennas. The ELRS transmitter module used in the T14 has an output power of up to 1000 mW and a refresh rate of up to 1 kHz. The antenna on the radio antenna is movable. It has two adjustable joints that allow it to be oriented in any direction. Useful for adjusting the polarization on your aircraft's receiving antenna to further increase reception strength.
On the back of the T14 we find a folding handle for easy transport. Also a standard JR shaft for expansion with external modules, say for example a 4in1 multiprotocol module. There is also a fan for active cooling of the ELRS module. The battery shaft can hold two Li-Ion batteries (not included) of size 21700 for long run time. They can be quickly charged via the USB-C connector. Jumper T14 supports 10W charging power. By the way, USB-C can also be used to connect the radio to flight simulators if you want to use the radio even more. Of course, the FW EdgetX.
