Product detailed description
This is the smartest charger, the holy grail of field charging. It charges 4 batteries at a time, fits in a backpack and there are many features if you want to charge fast, large batteries or parallel charge 20-40 batteries at a time (paralelboard). Can be powered from an external AC power source.
The HOTA line of charger/dischargers is quickly becoming renowned for its quality, reliability and numerous great features. This 1000W 4-channel charger/dischargers can charge 4 x 1~6S LiPo and up to 4 x 250W batteries, or you can combine 2 outputs together to achieve up to 500W. It offers plenty of protection against damage to yourself or your battery packs, such as thermal protection, over voltage, over current, input and output reverse, short circuit protection and much more (see the included manual for a full list). It uses a highly optimized charge control algorithm and its advanced circuit design offers 94% operating efficiency.
It features a simple programming system, there is a channel switch button to select the channel you want to program and a speed switch button for all other programming options. Press this quick switch key to enter a task, scroll to edit the task and another press to enter the task, all very straightforward and simple. It also has a 2.8" (320x240) IPS display with 260,000 colors, making the user experience very easy and simple. A unique feature of this charger is that it recycles the discharge energy when used to discharge the battery. This regenerative discharge takes most of the output battery's energy and returns it back to the input battery in a balanced, environmentally friendly way.
HOTA F6 has many ports, there is a standard XT60 DC port on the input side for 10.5~30V DC input power. Then on the output side, there is a multi-function port, 4 x XT60 output ports, 4 x 6S balance ports, dual 5V (Type-A) USB ports and a Type-C interface for firmware updates. The multi-function port has a Futaba/JR style connector that can be used as a servo tester to test your servos or to test the output of your transceiver.
Overall, this is a fantastic, user-friendly 4-channel charger/discharger that charges or discharges 4 batteries simultaneously, or you can combine the 2 outputs for even more charging power. It is suitable for LiHV, LiPo, LiFe, LiLon, Lixx, NiZn, NiCd, NiMH, Pb and Eneloop batteries and each port can charge/discharge different battery chemistries simultaneously. All of this can be done in your workshop if you have a suitable power source or out in the field when connected to a DC battery source.
