Some of the ExpressLRS TX modules contain an additional ESP8285 chip that allows us to communicate wirelessly with other ESP8285-enabled devices using a protocol called espnow. We call this chip the "TX-Backpack". The goal of the TX-Backpack is to enable wireless communication between the ExpressLRS and other FPV related devices for command and control or for configuration polling.
In a nutshell, it looks like as soon as you change the FPV copter' s video transmitter settings - channel or frequency via Lua script, it will automatically switch your FPV receiver in the goggles (Rapidfire)
