The Apex DC is a variation on the typical "dead cat" frame that is modified to keep the front and rear motors aligned, allowing the much-loved true-x geometry to be retained in the motor layout. This ensures that the frame remains balanced and flight characteristics are not compromised, unlike the classic "dead cat" design which brings the rear engines closer to the body and seriously affects handling. By modifying only the top and bottom main plates, full compatibility with standard Apex arms is maintained, using standard 5″ arms in the front and standard 6″ arms in the rear. The Apex DC includes newly redesigned 3D printed FPV camera mount parts. This keeps the camera firmly locked in place and reduces vibration while ensuring it is electrically isolated from the frame.
