The AOS 7 was designed from the ground up to provide the maximum possible flight performance in the 7-inch class. Ideal for fast freestyle, chasing fast moving objects, or long-range flight.
As the frame size increases, frame resonance and vibration become a bigger issue. Larger propellers create more vibration, and because they spin slower, this vibration occurs at lower frequencies. Longer arms exacerbate this problem. The longer the arm, the lower the resonant frequency.
To overcome this problem, the AOS 7 uses a split-arm design to align the carbon fibers in both arm struts with the applied load. This greatly increases the stiffness of the diagonal strut and the associated resonant frequency. In addition, AOS 7 builds on the AOS 5.5 design by using a wider center section.
The result is a 7 inch FPV frame with exceptional resonant performance that allows for less filtering and higher PID gains. Enjoy a smoother and more responsive flight feel with less prop wash, less oscillation and cooler motors.
